Client

Positive Design: bespoke retail environments for luxury brands since 1990, across perfume, cosmetics, jewellery, fashion, wines and travel retail

Engagement

A new website, then a monthly retainer covering SEO, content, link building, press and local search. Since January 2025, ongoing

Commercial aim

Win the brief before the brief exists, when a brand or a developer is still deciding who to invite

Brand care

A firm that builds for luxury houses cannot look ordinary anywhere. Every page had to hold the same standard as the work

The starting point

Thirty-five years of work for luxury brands, almost none of it online.

Their work / Source: Positive Design portfolio

In December 2025 the site had a Domain Rating of 7, 172 visits a month from search and referrals,
and not a single project page a buyer could look at.

What we did

1

Research : The words their buyers use, not the ones the trade uses

Retail interior design, shopfitting, visual merchandising, custom fabrication, turnkey fit-out, shop renovation. Each became a page with one job.

We set up tracking for the same categories in AI assistants, so we could see what ChatGPT and its peers say when a brand asks who can build a store in Asia.

2

Website : The portfolio, finally published

A new site, built page by page with the team through 2026: six core pages, the Process and Service subpages, and 25 individual project pages, so that every fit-out is something a buyer can open, read and judge.

Then three Featured Projects in depth, and five About Us pages covering the story, the team, the factory and their CSR work, because in this trade people buy the firm as much as the design.

3

Content : Answering what buyers ask before they call

A blog built around the questions that decide a shortlist, starting with what an end-to-end fit-out actually involves and what one costs.

Expert profiles across management, project management, design and craft, so the people behind the work are named and findable.

4

Authority : Links from the retail press, not from anywhere

Placements beside the stories their buyers already read: a Christian Louboutin flagship, a Lacoste store on Fifth Avenue, a G-SHOCK opening at Marina Bay Sands, Bond Street, EuroShop.

Around four a month, permanent, averaging Domain Rating 51 to 60, each agreed and priced in advance, with the budget reported to the dollar.

5

Press : A story worth syndicating

Their sustainability partnership with CleanHub became a press release that landed in roughly 1,432 places, including CNA, Yahoo Finance, Benzinga and ETnet, and produced 15 AI citations on its own.

An earlier release on the carbon cost of Asia’s luxury boom reached 151 Singapore and 405 United States sites. Two more are in the pipeline, on their legacy as a home-grown brand and on retail borrowing from hospitality.

Why this works for established firms

A portfolio is only an asset if it is published

Twenty-five projects that existed only in a sales deck became twenty-five pages that buyers and AI can read. The work was always there. Now it counts.

One story can travel a long way

A single press release about their sustainability partnership reached over 1,400 outlets and put them in front of audiences no advertising budget of that size would have bought.

Be in the answer, not just the results

Buyers increasingly ask an assistant before they ask a colleague. Positive Design is now the first name that comes back in its category.

Heritage is a search advantage

Thirty-five years of projects, people and process is material most competitors do not have. Published properly, it is very hard to outrank.
